What is the WOW program?

WOW (Week of Welcome) is a three-day program designed to assist first-year and transfer students make connections and get acclimated to the UConn community.

WOW Leader General Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Lead a group of first-year students through the WOW program.
• Assist with promotion of the WOW program and related WOW events.
• Represent the University of Connecticut, Department of Student Activities, and Major Events and Programs area in a professional and responsible manner as a student leader.
• Facilitate interactions, connections, and discussions among first-year students.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• WOW Leaders must be a current undergraduate student on UConn- Storrs campus.
• The WOW Leader position begins on on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 and ends on Sunday, August 30th, 2020.
