 Monday, August 28th  7:00pm Men’s Soccer vs. Quinnipiac

Come show your UConn Pride and cheer on your Huskies as they take on in-state rival Quinnipiac.  The first 200 first year students in attendance will receive a free t-shirt!  Student tickets are just $3 and can be purchased on gameday.

Sunset Yoga on Horse Barn Hill

Start the year with a memorable sunset yoga practice, accompanied by a gong meditation!  Free, all skill levels welcome.  BYO yoga mat or towel.  Transportation will be provided from the bookstore to Horse Barn Hill.

Connect and Challenge Retreat

The C2 retreat program is designed to connect participants to nature, to others and to themselves through play, outdoor adventure challenges, and a variety of reflective activities. The goal is to provide students with a pathway to experience greater joy, mindfulness and skill as they meet the challenges of college life. The main activities of the retreat will include:


  • Hiking in the beautiful Berkshires
  • White Water Rafting with Zoar Outdoor Adventures along the Deerfield River
  • Yoga, Meditation & Reflection
  • Campfires and Storytelling
  • Teambuilding initiatives
  • Journaling activities
  • Digital Detox – This will be a technology-free nature experience – for many this may be the most difficult and rewarding challenge, but is designed for foster increased connection and mindfulness.
